PİLOT is on air!

Pilot Gallery is pleased to announce the launch of the new podcast show Pilot Podcast!

The first series of the Pilot Podcast is inspired by the gallery's group exhibition "What Water Knows", which will run until February 26. The first podcast series of Pilot, which will consist of 5 broadcasts, examines various themes discussed in the context of the exhibition with the participation of experts and artists. The series is moderated by Yasemin Ülgen, Ayşe Ceren Sarı, and Serkan Kaptan of Birbuçuk Collective.

Episode 1

In the first episode, the Pilot Podcast is joined by Kerem Ozan Bayraktar and Aslı Uludağ. The artists discuss the web of events that connect ecological and international trade in their work “Waterline”, concentrating on the relationship between cargo ships and barnacles.

Episode 2

In the second episode of the Pilot Podcast, exhibiting artists İz Öztat and Fatma Belkıs chat with natural life advocate Sevinç Alçiçek about their “Will Flow Free," series which they produced as a part of the "Who Carries the Water" installation. The 'yellow muslin,' which has become a symbol of the campaign against river-type HEPPs, has been debated in relation to the recent environmental struggles in Arhavi.

As of February 11, new episodes of the Pilot Podcast can be listened to the Pilot Gallery's Spotify and Apple Podcasts accounts every Friday during the exhibition time.
